I personally like them. That they are finding their own way is a plus to me. Any two people can play the same song and it will come out differently. What I like about them is that they are not show offs. Many times bluegrass leaves me cold because of a lot of the showy tricks used in the music. NC plays a song very spare. Where they could improve (and will,over time) is the lyrics in their song writing. It's called 'milage' I believe.
