G'day all,

I reckon this old song is as indestructible as the mis-gendered tabby. There was a version collected in Australia (in the mid-'50s ...?) and published in Singabout, Journal of Australian Folk Lore ... and (I think I vaguely remember ... ) anthologised by me in Singabout - Selected Reprints, 1985!

I'll dig out that version when I get home and add it to this thread.
