Up front, let me confess that I have not read through every posting in this thread, nor have I seen the "part I" thread. So if my question has already been addressed, my apologies.

Now, then, does anyone remember a cartoon series on American TV called "Ruff and Ready" (maybe it was Ruff n' Ready, or some alternate spelling)? I think the two main characters were a dog and a cat (don't remember which was Ruff and which was Ready.) I don't remember much else, accept that there were a series of episodes in which they went to a planet called "Muni Mula" - a planet made of aluminum ("Muni Mula" is aluminum spelled backwards, unless you're from Britain. :) ) That leads me to suspect that the show may have had a science fiction theme. I also remember fragments of a theme song "They're Ruff, and Ready, ???Ruff and Ready, they're tough, but steady, always Ruff and Ready, they sometimes have their little spats, even fight like dogs and cats, but when they need each other that's when, they're Ruff and Ready."

This would either have been the late 50's or the early 60's. From the dustbin of my mind.
