While I applaud your intentions and great big heart, maybe this isn't what you really want to do... maybe focusing a group on this little one's loss is going to take away one place where there's some degree of respite from the most intense feelings. Sometimes people need a space where it's safe to NOT look at it all, to get their attention back together before plunging to the depths once again. I'm not saying to ignore or invalidate the loss, or that anything in life can be normal in the face of that sort of loss. But maybe doing anything more than letting the child you know their loss and are there, if needed, will open a can of worms you're not able to handle in the group setting. Might be a good idea to talk it over with fellow professionals to see what people think.
