I liked the film. When I read Bill Valgardson's short story "Blood Flowers" (also made into a film vignette) I thought for sure he's swiped the story from Wicker Man. But I later had Bill as a professor at university and he'd never even heard of WM. He based his tale, similarly, on the ancient tradition of the Green Man.
