there's a sort of underground music movement happening in the States and some other countries known as "wyrd folk" which harkens back to the English folk rock and psychedelic rock of the late 1960s and early 1970s; i think this will be the next wave of sound in alternative music; hopefully it won't catch on and become mainstream...
