Well, Andreas, I have to say that from the standpoint of human comfort (or lack thereof), the Fahrenheit scale makes some sense. 100 degrees Fahrenheit is miserable. So is Zero.
From the standpoint of water, Celsius makes more sense because freezing and boiling are very important events in the life of a drop of water - but I'm not water, so why should I care??
