I'm trying to find out more about a song. I heard it first in the movie "Babe" when Mr. Hoggett sings it to Babe to cheer him up. Later, I found a version done in the '70s (in English) by a couple of European singers. The lyrics that I know are: If I had words, I'd make a day for you. I'd sing you a morning golden and true. I would make this day last for all time, Give you a night full of moonshine.
It sounds like an old English melody and I'd love to find a version that wasn't 'pop'.
Thanks! Peg
