Jean, you first wrote "As the poisonous water spreads over my land" rather than "As the poisonous waters rise over my land", didn't you? That's the line in your songbook Celebration of Life.
I think the second comma in the line in the chorus "Black waters, black waters, run down through my land" (DT transcription) should be deleted.
