*smile*...I've been singing this for years...I learned it from John McCutcheon, and I seem to have gotten all those words right. It happens I was in W. Virgina recently for a music weekend, and several mining songs/land use songs were sung...."Black Waters" fit in just fine...there were several who knew it, and it was accompanied by, among other things, a full sized harp.
