Masato- Thanks; yes, it's "spreading" in one verse and "rising" in another- I was just mixed up as to which verses were which. By all means take the comma out; as a writer, I disapprove of too much punctuation.

Son Peter plays the autoharp on the recording of the song for the "None But One" album. I often use the autoharp when there's not a guitar handy.
