I enjoyed the series (despite the fact that one gangster,( was it Frank Nitti?)played I think by Neville Brand, was killed at least twice!) but thought Stack's acting very wooden. He was my mother's favourite, though, so he may be in for a shock when he gets to the pearly gates!
