Groucho Marx was playing golf one day with a critic/friend (unusual for Groucho!)in tow. He came to a par 3 and although only a very average golfer, got a Hole-In-One. The critic took the story back to his paper immediately and the next day there was a headline in the Sports section with pictures of Groucho, Bobby Jones, Sam Snead, and Ben Hogan....the headline read, "Marx Joins The Immortals."

The next day a couple of sports guys went along on Groucho's round and coming to the same hole, Groucho did nothing right and shot a nine. The next newspaper edition had the same photos, except where Groucho's had been there was a blank. The headline now read, "Marx Leaves The Immortals."

So for however long.............
