You could try putting your chewing gum on the bedpost overnight and checking the flavour next morning, but I wouldn't recommend it.
You could also jump up and down and turn around while picking a bale of cotton but you'd just wear yourself out!
You could take this hammer to the Captain, but he might tell you to put it where the sun don't shine.
