Having read "Portrait" several times (once per decade or so), I have an idea of *who* Oliver St. John Gogarty was, but have never been sure how to pronounce his name (and therefore the name of the pub). Is it "SIN-jin" or "Sin-JON"? "GO-gerty" or "go-GAR-ty"?

I think I can pronounce "Oliver" well enough without help, thank you.
