I am informed by reliable sources that William Shatner himself was quite concerned about the Mudcat being offline for an extended period. He regards this forum as an important contributor to the objective of acheiving complete SHATNERIZATION of society on a worldwide basis...an objective toward which such luminaries as George Bush Jr., Mike Tyson, Martha Stewart, Saddam Hussein, and Mao Tse-Tung have also made enthusiastic efforts of their own from time to time.
