Alasdair Clayre wrote a song called 'Adam and the Beasts' which I have on a recording by the Dransfields. Clayre also had a Folkways album titled 'Adam and the Beasts' which I have not heard. Does anyone know whether this Alasdair Clayre is the same person as the Professor Alasdair Clayre who wrote novels, television documentaries and suicided by throwing himself under a train?
