Thread Name: Neil Young and Lucinda Williams?
Subject: RE: Neil Young and Lucinda Williams?
In the latest issue of "Acoustic Guitar," Lucinda opines as how she'd like to make a record with those folks, and it said she'd been staying at Neil Young's house while doing her most recent recording (or something like that), so my guess is they've hit it off, musically, and are taking it on the road.

Personally, I'd think the vocal qualities involved would make the makers of Fisherman's Friend, VocalZone, or any other throat lozenge send a case of their product over muy pronto, sensing a publicity windfall. I love both of 'em, but their particular and peculiar vocal "ranges" are, to my ears, more than a little raspy and throaty.

I always preferred Ms. Williams' band when Gurf Morlix was the lead guitarist, though. Come to think of it, so did Lucinda, I understand.
