Another point maybe worth remembering is that, when the Cat goes down for over a day, all the threads vanish from the screen, until they are individually refreshed.

Sometimes this isn't such a bad idea, but anyway you can always put all of them them up on your screen, to remind you if there are any you want to chase them up, by adjusting the Refresh button from its default of "one day" to "three days" or whatever is appropriate.
