By the way, so my short version directions above don't confuse anyone, Daniel Street (where the Press Room is located) and Congress Street (same street a block west in Market Square) are both one way -- going AWAY from the river. State Street, one block south, is one way going TOWARDS the river. It is often necessary to circle the block in one direction or another in order to find parking close to the Press Room.
