I've been seeing Tom around the North London clubs since about 1967 so the Scandinavia 1966 date must have been just before he returned/arrived in England.

Yes a legend. I remember being with some music friends in Olympia, Washington State about 1973 and meeting with some old timey fans (Burt and Di Meyer IIRC) who were amazed that the legendary Tom Paley was such a regular part of my musical experiences in London.

It was good to have the latest version of the New Deal String Band at our club recently, Tom with son Ben and Tom's long time musical companion Joe Locker.
