Subject: Carolina Moon From: nealla@person.net Date: 01 Oct 98 - 01:11 PM I am looking for the words to a song my grandfather often sang to me - "Carolina Moon". If anyone has the words to this, or, even better yet, knows where a realaudio clip of the song exists, please contact me at nealla@person.net. A thousand thanks. |
Subject: RE: Carolina Moon From: Dale Rose Date: 01 Oct 98 - 05:14 PM Finding the words is easy enough. You'll find them as sung by Jim Reeves at http://www.gentleman-jim.com/jim-carolina.htm As far as the real audio is concerned, I am pretty sure I have heard it somewhere, I just don't remember where. The version I remember hearing is of a much older recording. There is another set of lyrics and a satisfactory midi at http://www.arrowweb.com/M1/themoon/lyrics.html #Carolina It was written in 1929 according to this site. |
