Good luck with this, Paul. It looks like a good 'un.

It doesn't seem unreasonable for folks to pay for tickets if they say they want them. Then, if they really can't make it closer to the time you haven't lost out financially. If, however, you manage to sell the unexpectedly spare capacity to any waiting list, you can refund the money*. That seems much more fair than reserving tickets on a no-risk-to-the-punter basis.

*And it doesn't seem unreasonable to subtract any expenses incurred, like bank/Paypal charges and/or postage.

Oh, and happy Christmas to you and and the happy KffCers!!!

Hamish

Why not buy your loved one a Winter Warmer ticket (or 2) for Christmas?

You know they will love it!

Available from the link above.

Paul

Pete, that's not good. I'm holding your money from the BBB though.

Tickets now available here

Not quite sure at the moment, Paul. Following on the death of Jools' dad, I've just been handed the lovely Christmas present of a redundancy notice. Hey, it never rains etc.

We'll have to see how things stand in the new year but it certainly looks like another great line up - and we really do need to get out and have a bit of a sing soon.

Thanks Pete,

....and a merry Christmas to you and yours too.

You can now purchase tickets from me (send a cheque to the address on the website) or via PayPal......buy now buttons will be on the website today/ tomorrow.

This is to the world in general not the Kelk Brigade

I have a slight dilemma in that quite a few people who said they were coming to the BBB and asked for tickets to be saved backed out at the last minute or didn't turn up.......I had given out messages asking people not to travel if they didn't have tickets. This meant our numbers were down.

Would it be unreasonable to ask people to buy their tickets in advance? I'd rather not save tickets without the money having being paid up front......... but don't want to be unreasonable or put anyone off!

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

Paul

6.00pm to 8.30pm: Big Welcome Sing. Feel free to strut your stuff!

8.45pm - Sarah McQuaid
"Sarah's voice is both as warm as a turf fire and as rich as matured cognac while her guitar playing throughout should be a lesson to anyone unconvinced of the instrument's role in traditional music.." Geoff Wallis & Sue Wilson - The Rough Guide To Irish Music

10.00pm - Zoox
"Be prepared for a fabulous array of instruments from contrabassoon to congas.
Exciting arrangements, great musicianship and infectious energy typify the performances of Zoox in a show which is guaranteed to entertain and enchant."

3.00pm- TBC! Good traditional singing!
