What's happened to Myspace?

MySpace fucked us over years ago. Why do people thing it will be any different now or in future? IMO, if you stayed with MySpace after the first screwing around you are getting what you deserve.

Yesterday, I found my classic MySpace had been forced over to the new Myspace, which meant that the Blog, with all 230 of my poems, is gone for good. It still seems to be a good place for music, though, and perhaps we can now post more than 10 tracks..? E.g. - https://myspace.com/walkaboutsverse

I just went to my myspace page to grab a photo and found that I can't negotiate the site any more. I tried to check out some other sites and they're in the same state. Does this mean that everything I have put on myspace is lost?
I realise that few folks use it any more, but it used to be way better for musicians than facebook.
