He wrote home (amid mostly blacked out lines). They are treating us well. Tell Dad. Tell Aunt So-and-So, and don't forget to tell it to the marines. |

I remember stories of WW2 acronyms written on the back of soldiers envelopes written to wives and lovers. Known examples:-
