There are camping facilities at Lower Wyburns Farm, Daws Heath Road, Rayleigh, SS6 7NP

Campground is over 3 miles from Leigh on Sea, no bus after 8pm and it is a bit of an up hill slog (if I remember correctly) from the stop to the campground anyway.

Facilities limited to six pitches with electrical hook-up
Additional field may be available if demand is sufficient.

Wish we could offer you lift to and from campsite or even to crash in our spare room. But our car won't accommodate 4 adults as well as sundry musical kit.   

We plan to go
Friday night sing around (maybe)
all day Saturday (maybe)
Saturday night sing around (defo)
Sunday night to see Eric Bogle (defo)

Wish they would get the programme up.

We shan't be going there this year. Only went last because Ben had a spot through New Roots. We won't be ticking their box this year in his options. They give every Old Leigh carpark over to performance stages, and then ticket you for on street parking because all the disabled bays are full. Last year the last one was being filled as we got to it. Southend council gave us a ticket !

Apparently, Eric Bogel farewell tour has it's own thread now. So definitely must see him at Leigh Festival.
