I have at least a couple of old LPs, and at least one CD, that I would just as soon take out in the yard and launch. On the other hand, I would rather put Bruce's stuff in the CD player and listen to it.

Got my CD in the car.
I only hope that some of Bruce's friends, including those on Mudcat, have bought the CD. (Not talking about contributors.) Hazards of living in a small world. Most of the folks who like his music are his friends, and making CD's ain't cheap.

Lemme see: too early for midwinter holiday presents, but maybe a nice spring renewal/rebirth celebration in a basket with fake grass (the legal stuff), chocolate bunnies, and brightly-colored eggs.

For the record, I still think the concert was one of the best I've attended. The sound was so good I didn't even notice it, it just was. I wish I could just teleport back there.

Living nearby, I was fortunate to be able to attend both the cd launch and the evening concert. Both were terrific! At the launch we heard Bruce's beautiful songs interspersed by fascinating stories. At the evening concert, Bruce was very gracious in recognizing and thanking the other musicians. It was a most beautiful and memorable evening . The cd is great! Thanks again, Bruce, for a wonderful experience!

that's good to know, Jeri. I'm glad that I was part of the studio end of the project. My spirit was with y'all... but my body had to stay closer to home. It's great to witness how much Mr.Bruce's music has evolved just over the past 3 or 4 years... since he 'came out' !!! (musically speaking).. I'm proud of him and the fact that we're friends in the truest sense of the word

I thought I posted this a while ago, but webweasels ate my post... or my brain.

The l_aunch was intimate and fascinating. The concert was amazing, not just because of Bruce, but because of what his songs inspired in skilled musicians, some of which was sheer genius. Every song had that bit of silence at the end that comes from people waiting for the last note to fade. Standing ovation.

And Ron, you were missed.

Well, I had to pay for my lunch but the launch was great. We were treated to lots of entertaining tales of making the CD and heard the cuts associated with the stories...great stuff. In Firefox, on my Mac, if my cursor runs over the "Learn more" icon, the pop-up window opens, even though I clicked nothing. That could be annoying if I was simply trying to copy and paste and sloppily navigated the cursor over the icon in the process.
