Well, the thing is, a lot of the songs I'm looking for are traditional songs, but his versions vary a lot from the standard. Thus, I've got vague ideas, but nothing conrete lyric-wise.

I have the cds, liner notes and everything. No lyrics.

Hi, Tyler - Roscoe Holcomb did at least three albums on the Folkways label. All the Folkways recordings are available for 99-cent-per-cut download at Smithsonian Global Sound. Most (maybe all) of the albums have PDF files of the excellent Folkways liner notes available for free download, and many of those liner notes have lyrics.
Of course, the first one I downloaded did not have lyrics, but such is life. It had lots of wonderful information.
But hey, the second album had lyrics...

May I suggest that you request songs by title? He did mostly traditional songs and I don't doubt folks here would be able to come up with the words for you.

Just wondering if there was any compilation or place I could go to find lyrics for Roscoe Holcomb's songs. He's a favorite of mine, but it's hard to figure out what he's saying, and I can only find about three or four songs of his by searching around. Any tips, or even links to individual songs?
