Subject: RE: Sessions / Clubs Pembrokeshire From: GUEST,sian, west wales Date: 01 Oct 07 - 07:05 PM There's a good one near Haverfordwest: The Victoria Inn Session. And a decent bit of prep material on the session's website. Nice guys. From the trac website: A new session - every third Friday of the month at the Victoria Inn on the A487 in Roch near Haverfordwest. It's not just for "Folkies". Anyone with any instrument, of whatever ability, is more than welcome. We'll be playing tunes from all over the British Isles and maybe even further afield. Or you can come just to listen and enjoy the music (not to mention the excellent food and drink available at The "Vic"). Singers are also welcome. To get things going we're providing four sets of tunes in ABC format and MIDI, one from each of the four home countries (see the session`s own website for these - details below). A run-through of the sets will start at 7.00 p.m. with the session proper starting at 8.00 p.m. Come along and enjoy the hwyl! Contact details www.thevicsession.info |
