"In our lives we are often faced with the quandary: Would we like what lies behind Door #1, Door #2, or Door #3? Our past experience stands beside us, like Montie Hall, grinning yet offering no solid guidance, while our hopes stand poised before us, like Carol Merrill enticing us with jingling keys." from The Game Show as Metaphor by Deepak Chakrha

My aunt just called from Oregon to tell me about the raccoons which are coming into her kitchen, through the catflap and stealing all of the catfood! So now, I guess raccoons are the solid mass which fills the katflaps of life?

So, BK, I am confused, therefore I understand?? Huh***BG***

If you're not confused, you don't fully understand the situation.

Cheers, BK

As my brother's song says, BeSeed: "All in the stream of time's flow", she said enigmatically:-)

How Zen: do doorways have a choice! This, after Marge said, we are doorways! Now as to what's passin' thro, BeSeed, I 'spose, we could just leave that as the flotsam and jetsam of life which we sieve through the old screen door, picking and choosing, as the woman said, eh?

Always making me live up to the sobriquet of

Kat, do doorways have any choice about who (or what) passes through them? --seed

We are the doorways of life and we must choose what comes in and what goes out.
