Steve Tilston has stepped in at short notice to perform at Otley Folk Club tonight.

Steve Tilston is one of this country's greatest song-writers with many of his songs considered modern folk-song classics and covered by the likes of Fairport Convention, Dolores Keane, John Wright and others.

The writer of the classic songs "The Slip Jigs and Reels", "The Naked Highwayman", and "Here's to Tom Paine", Steve is one of the most engaging performers on the scene today.

Unfortunately I caught a bug at the Cromer Folk weekend and now have no voice and a bad chest. Therefore I've had to pull out of my gig at Otley tomorrow. There will be a replacement, but please tell anyone you know who was was going. If you were going, my apologies, but sometimes these things happen and there's nowt a singer can do about it.
