Subject: RE: Gordon Bok, Rhode Island 10 March 2012 - CANCELLED From: ChanteyLass Date: 18 Mar 12 - 10:47 PM Gordon has rescheduled his Stone Soup performance. It will be on April 21. That's on his website. http://www.gordonbok.com/concerts/concerts.html And right there on his website is a link to Stone Soup's website for details, ticket info, directions, etc. Or you could just click on my link in my original post! After about a week if no comments are added to this thread, it can be closed. I'll start a new thread closer to the concert date. |
Subject: RE: Gordon Bok, Rhode Island 10 March 2012 - CANCELLED From: ChanteyLass Date: 09 Mar 12 - 11:37 PM Thank you, Jeri. Are you a moderator, or should I once again also thank a mystery moderator? And, yes, this whole thread has been about this one gig. |
Subject: RE: Gordon Bok, RI, 10 March 2012 - CANCELLED From: Jeri Date: 09 Mar 12 - 09:01 AM This was about one gig, not the whole tour. He's cancelled a couple dates because of illness. Information on the tour is at www.gordonbok.com |

Subject: RE: Gordon Bok, RI, 10 March 2012 From: ChanteyLass Date: 08 Mar 12 - 05:51 PM Uh-oh! Gordon has had to cancel due to illness which worries me a bit considering the last two posts! The concert will be rescheduled. If anyone bought a ticket through Paypal, info is here. http://www.soup.org/ |
Subject: RE: Gordon Bok, RI, 10 March 2012 From: ChanteyLass Date: 07 Mar 12 - 10:24 PM Perish the thought, but not Bok, at least not for a very long time. Thanks for giving me another opportunity to refresh this thread! Why is your mind putting a P after RI? What is it trying to tell you? Anyway, while I may post something after Saturday night, this thread will disappear soon after that unless you then go back three days or more. |
Subject: RE: Gordon Bok, RI, 10 March 2012 From: catspaw49 Date: 07 Mar 12 - 12:22 AM Could we get a change on this thread title? No matter how many times I look at it, at first glance I keep reading "Gordon Bok RIP" as if Bok went down for the dirt nap.................... Spaw |

Subject: RE: Gordon Bok, RI, 3/10/12 From: Anne Neilson Date: 04 Mar 12 - 09:06 AM Wish I could be there, but how many Comfort Inns would I need between Glasgow, Scotland and Pawtucket? Seriously, it would be a real treat and a privilege to hear Gordon again in live performance - he has a special place in my musical history. |
Subject: RE: Gordon Bok, RI, 3/10/12 From: maeve Date: 04 Mar 12 - 07:50 AM You'll have a wonderful time, ChanteyLass. I'd travel that far to hear him. |
Subject: Gordon Bok, RI, 3/10/12 From: ChanteyLass Date: 03 Mar 12 - 11:50 PM Yes, Gordon is coming here! I don't get to every concert I post, but I hope I can get to this one. I don't think Gordon has been to Stone Soup Coffeehouse since it relocated to its current venue. I'm not even sure if he has performed at any of Stone Soup's previous Pawtucket venues. I think the last time I saw him was when Stone Soup was still in Providence. The music starts at 8 PM. As I always write, Stone Soup is in Pawtucket, just a few blocks from Rt. 95. Pawtucket is just north of Providence and just south of the Massachusetts state line. Really! Leave MA on 95S and you are in Pawtucket. Leave Providence on 95N and you are in Pawtucket, and of course regular streets will get you there, too. Directions, ticket info, and a link to listen to Gordon are below, but who needs to listen? You all know how wonderful he is, right? And if anyone travels any distance, a Comfort Inn is between Stone Soup and Route 95! http://www.soup.org/ |
