We went to South Shields folk club last Sunday where the Wilsons were playing, and what a lovely evening it was. We are just getting back into folk music after missing it for years and Sunday was brilliant. Hope to get down on Thursday.

Feeling better. Went to See Norma Waterson & Eliza Carthy at the Sage last night. Excellent evening though Norma looked as if she had a bad cold. They left out their final number and Eliza did the encore solo.

I'll try and get along to the 'Village Carols'.

Always a popular night this one with the Mummers and ourselves its usually good crack!

We have also been asked again to sing at the 'Village Carols' before the club, which starts at 6.30pm(ish) on the High St opposite the Village Post.
