Subject: RE: A Concert for Chris Caswell From: maeve Date: 26 Jan 13 - 11:40 AM Thank you. Many of us are far away, and perhaps don't have much money, but if many can give what they can it will help. I never met Chris, but was considering his harps to replace mine. It looks like it will be a remarkable concert. I'll watch for a link to the Silent Auction. Another thought; some 'Catters may want to donate something nice for the Silent Auction. Is that welcome? |
Subject: RE: A Concert for Chris Caswell From: Dave Swan Date: 26 Jan 13 - 11:22 AM Thanks for asking, Maeve. The silent auction will continue online and there will be a tab for donations in any amount. There are also plans to stream the concert live from the Freight. I'll post details when they're available. |

Subject: A Concert for Chris Caswell From: Dave Swan Date: 26 Jan 13 - 01:27 AM Here's a link to the page at the Freight and Salvage's website detailing the concert for Chris Caswell Chris's illness has left behind staggering medical bills and the local trad community has banded together with the generous support of the Freight, to reduce the debt as far as we can. It'll be an evening of great music. I've had a look at the items in the silent auction. There are goodies there for everybody. |
