It's a mostly acoustic album which contains country blues, a couple of Rev.Gary Davis' "holy blues", some nice originals (especially Genesis) and two songs sung by a fellow named Tom Hobson. I'm really partial to the ones Jorma does with just his guitar as you don't hear him in that setting too often. Frankie

Subject: RE: Ever heard of a band/person named 'Quah' From: Alice Date: 07 Nov 99 - 10:41 AM It was Jorma Kaukonen with Tob Hobson (remember Hot Tuna?). Great album. It was released more than once. I played it when I was a college FM radio DJ, and then found a "Best Buy" copy of it in the store, 1974, which I still own. |
