Subject: RE: Lyr Req: The Cullen? From: Jack Campin Date: 01 Feb 17 - 08:45 AM A quick google says there are Cullen mines in New South Wales (opencast coal) and North Carolina (nonferrous metals). Could either of those fit? |
Subject: Lyr Req: The Cullen? From: GUEST,ExHammerHead Date: 31 Jan 17 - 04:14 PM I wonder if any of the assembled brainy folk can shed a bit of light on something that has been bugging me for the last couple of days? About 20 years ago I played fiddle on a song that I now can only remeber a verse of. It went something like: Gone is the man who worked these hills A man with time to kill Dragged from the land this factory hand And forced against his will In another time in another place They'll hear our silent rage Ors is the time of wanting now The Cullen has its way The Cullen has its way If anyonc can shed any light on this - including author/artist other verses - I'd be very grateful. Thanks |
