Hmmm. I'm thinking something from Lee Murdock, who seems to have recorded every Great Lakes song ever written. I thought it was the Great Lakes Song but it's not.

With all the talk about the wreck of the Fitz and seeing/hearing the oreboats on the lakes; I keep hearing a shred of a song that contained the line 'you seldom see the oreboats any more'. Was it a Lightfoot song? An Arranmore song? Am I losing my mind? Anybody got lyrics or at least a title/author?
