Just been listening to this old song from Leon Rosselson and it seems just as relevant today especially with the rantings of a certain party polical leader.

I'm ashamed that so many of these old "tropes" and cliches are still being regurgigated by right wing politicians and ill informed members of the public so many years later.

However, the song is slightly dated to an extent and Leon uses one or two unfortunate terms which would be unacceptable today albeit he is only "quoting" the racists as opposed to stating his own views.

It's possible though that the song could and should make a revival if it was updated slightly and one or two of the offending words removed.

Any thoughts?
