The song you are looking for is called "The Battle of Prestonpans". I might have the lyrics but cannot find out that before tomorrow.

Yours Wolfgang

I'm looking for a Scots folksong about a battle of either Preston pans or Preston dikes. I heard it once and know very little of it, includes a verse something like... They turned their backs, their fits (?)tae brack, such terror siezed them all man, some wet their cheeks, some fouled their breeks and some for fear did fall man. Appreciate any & all help.Thanks.
