Subject: Some wet their cheeks...fouled their breeks. From: Cathub@bellsouth.net Date: 05 Jun 97 - 06:29 AM I'm looking for a Scots folksong about a battle of either Preston pans or Preston dikes. I heard it once and know very little of it, includes a verse something like... They turned their backs, their fits (?)tae brack, such terror siezed them all man, some wet their cheeks, some fouled their breeks and some for fear did fall man. Appreciate any & all help.Thanks. |
