Subject: RE: Radio: Episode 45 - A Special Friend From: SINSULL Date: 28 Jul 00 - 09:12 AM Am I the only one who can see this for what it is? Guest has a hopeless crush on our Moonchild and wisely expecting rejection has chosen the third grade route -"I'll stick her pigtails in the inkwell and everyone will think I hate her." I hope she is as amused as I am by this display. She and Harpgirl were an amazing team on Hearme. My house guests prevent me from dropping in but I hope, come September, that the duo will grace us with another performance. Mary |
Subject: RE: Radio: Episode 45 - A Special Friend From: GUEST,Rat Bastard Date: 27 Jul 00 - 06:41 PM We each bring as much baggage to a thread or radio show as they ever shipped on the Richmond & Danville line. So who is surprised if one Guest can't appreciate an outstanding song like Tom Paxton's Last Thing On My Mind? Sparing Mudcatters around the world the details of her anger may have been her way of not being unkind. Who knows? |
Subject: RE: Radio: Episode 45 - A Special Friend From: Big Mick Date: 27 Jul 00 - 02:25 AM I wish like hell I would have been home tonight. I know Moonchild to be a wonderful person, and I will certainly listen to the archive tomorrow. Mick And guest, you are a cowardly horses arse. Lower than whale shite. If you were using the guest nom de guerre because of a controversial position, that would be bad enough but understandable. Some folks just aren't comfortable. But to use the GUEST name for no other reason than to attack someone anonymously is cowardice, and shows you to be lacking in character, as well as honor. Mick |

Subject: RE: Radio: Episode 45 - A Special Friend From: Amergin Date: 27 Jul 00 - 12:21 AM Moonchild has a beautiful voice...and she seems like a great person....Wonderful job tonight!!! |
Subject: RE: Radio: Episode 45 - A Special Friend From: GutBucketeer Date: 26 Jul 00 - 11:38 PM Guest: Obviously you are a regular Mudcatter. If you don't have the guts to say something like the above using your normal Mudcat name, then DON'T SAY IT. I listened to the show for about 10 minutes tonight, and will hear the rest tomorrow. I for one am glad to see/hear/communicate with any Mudcatter that cares to identify themselves and state their opinions. If they didn't care they wouldn't bother. That goes for Moonchild, Harpgirl, BigMick, MBO, Max, Catspaw49 (and getting younger all of the time), kat, and everyone else. I heard Moonchild on Hearme one night when she was visiting Harpgirl. She has a wonderful voice, and I look forward to sharing her visit to Mudcat Central tomorrow! Nuff Said GoodNight! JAB aka Jim Bunch in Silver Spring Maryland !!!!! |
Subject: RE: Radio: Episode 45 - A Special Friend From: GUEST Date: 26 Jul 00 - 10:02 PM Well I, for one, am absolutely disgusted. Putting up with moonchild's tantrums on the forum is one thing, without having to look at her 'brave face' on mudcat radio. And then she had the nerve to sing about not meaning to hurt people. You've lost my vote. |
