Subject: Revolution--Lyrics requested From: Moira Cameron, moirakc@internorth.com Date: 14 Aug 97 - 10:00 PM This powerful song was sung by Dick Gaughin--it's on his album, "Live in Edinburgh." I can get most of the lyrics except for two words or phrases in the first and last verses. The words were written originally by an 1890 American poet, Joseph Bovshover. Gaughin re-worked some of the lyrics and composed the tune. I really want to learn the song, so any help with the lyrics would be very much appreciated. Thanks. |
