I do it pretty much the way McGrath does it. However, I have "Easy CD Creator" software for my CD burner, and it has a feature that lets me convert a CD track into a WAV file in about 10 seconds. It then takes about 30 secodns for RealProducer to change the WAV into a RealMedia file. Sound quality is good, and a 4-minute song is about 500 kb, not a very big file. I don't like the sound quality of MP3 files that are that size.

Dear Herge,

One of our fellow Mudcatters, McGrath of Harlow, has this all figured out and has a page on his website explaining One Way To Put Your Songs On The Net.

Good luck!

Read a book that explains about MP3 and Real Audio and putting them on your page.

Most modern books on web authoring should help you, and will give you the pros and cons of each method.

There really is no two or three sentence answer I'm afraid.

If you get back to this thread, I'll try to give you some pointers.

Zeb
