They are a great instructional tool. Highly recommended. As Roy says, "I even learned some stuff I didn't know off my own tape".

I have a compilation video with a segment from "Blues By The Book". It's called "Great Guitar Lessons" from Homespun Tapes and has Roy teaching a Ragtime Instrumental Medley. Very good teacher as he takes it slow and explains in great detail, and shows plainly what he is doing with both hands. I've wanted to buy the complete video of just Roy but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Does anyone have experience with the "Blues By The Book" instructional videos? I'm thinking Piedmont blues might be more up my alley than Delta, and I like what I've heard on "Travelin' Man". Thanks, John
