Subject: RE: Free and Green - David Kincaid From: Uncle Jaque Date: 06 Feb 02 - 07:40 PM "Free and Green" from David's "Irish Volunteer" just knocks my socks off, and we've been waiting for his next album with baited breath (and if you know Reenactors, you know that bait gets pretty rank over a weekend) for gosh, a couple or three years now. Rumors abound, yet no album is forthcoming. Somebody light a fire under that Laddie, willya?! By the way, "Butch"; I've been getting my gut strings (banjo and parlor guitar) from Boston Catlines - Chris Olav Henricksen, as I recall - over the past 13 years or so, and having pretty good luck - but if you provide them, I'd like to know about it. He sells them in 3 Meter lengths, which last a while and are of top-rate quality, but they are a little pricey, and I'm down to my last meter on a couple of 'em. |
