Phil stayed with me in England on his tour. Memories are of talking late into the night and playing my Buddy Holly collection. He lost a contact lens in my mother's front room and signed my guestbook "Phil Ochs, Hanoi". He also recorded two of his new songs for me "Flower Lady" and "Cannons of Christinity", putting the chords down for me afterwards. I still have the tape. Is it time for singers to revive "Cops of the world?"

Today, on CBC's Radio One progam, Definitely NOT the Opera, they have a feature on Phil Ochs.

Talks about his life, music, travels, etc. throughout his career. It is on the last hour of the show. I heard this between 4 and 5PM Atlantic time. For a feed in your time zone, check CBC's main site.
