Just wanted to thank you for posting this. I was going to come along for the first time but I saw this 5 minutes before I was due to leave work. So thanks JulieB you've saved me a wasted trip! Maybe next time :-)

However, if this leaves you looking for something else to do tonight, I'd recommend Canadian band Tanglefoot, appearing at the Northampton Folk Club (At the Old Black Lion) tonight at 8.30pm. Tickets are six pounds each. I saw these guys at the Four Fools Festival in Chorley a couple of weeks ago and they were GREAT!!!!

Forwarding a message from Sue Harry, who runs the monthly a cappella session at The Crown public house, Stony Stratford, Bucks, UK:

"Well the God's are against us this month - we have just noticed that The Crown is closed until Friday July 19th and then will be under new management, so unfortunately that means the a cappella session tomorrow is cancelled. Disappointing but we'll let you know if we can arrange future sessions. Please pass the word round about the cancellation
