The problem with those minor chords... you can't use them in the bars and pubs or the place will get busted.

***insert rim shot here***

Try the first Bm position (as described by Peter T.) but with the forth string left open. This works out to be: 1st string 4th fret, 2nd string 3rd fret, 3rd string 4th fret, 4th string open.

The low "D" produced by the 4th string, at least to my ear, makes for a "warmer" Bm chord. It's also easier to finger!

Mike

It's a Mini-Me chord, named after Pres Bush....

What is Mmin?

Have some new notes been added to the scale when I wasn't looking?

1st string, 4th fret, 2nd string 3rd fret, 3rd string 4th fret, 4th string, 4th fret (thumb or other finger). Another one is, bar the 7th fret, and finger the 1st string 9th fret, and the 4th string, 9th fret (it is the Em chord zoomed up the neck). yours, Peter T. (we await Art's version of course).

I just slide up the Am two frets. Of course I seldom find use for a Bm out of G.

What other chords are you using? Hard to recommend additional chords without knowing that, even among banjo players!

Cheerily,
Charley Noble

Hey Art!
In G tuning, what is a simple Bmin chord fingering for clawhammer? With about four more chords I might be able to graduate to another level of playing...thanks Art...harpy-cat
