No point heading a thread like this and letting it drop off after only three days . Especially as I have a NON gig week this week. I NEED the publicity !! And just to add interest I WILL be playing the mysterious Banjola on the night.

Oddly enough the lovely John does NOT have sole rights for Self promotion on Mudcat- Yes I know that is hard to believe!

And I have closed a few clubs in my time but this is the first time someone has closed the pub to try to stop me doing a gig!!

If I didnt already know the Whole World is against me I could get Paranoid !!

The pub will be under new management but the current plan is to expect the folk club to continue unchanged for the near future. Cllr will send me any changes for quick updates to the Ampthill Folk Club website (I've just put Leadfingers' date in now, only from reading about it here!).

I thought I ought to warn Bedforshire that I will be at Ampthill on
the Evening of the 13th of April, so you can either give the club as wide a berth as you like or come along for a laugh. Allsorts of songs and tunes with as wide a selection of various instruments as I can fit in the car.
