Subject: RE: Thumb picks From: Mountain Dog Date: 21 Oct 98 - 05:56 PM Jim Dunlop makes left-handed (or more correctly, left-thumbed?) thumbpicks. For more info, check this URL: http://www.jimdunlop.com/picks/ Looks as though the smallest quantity available through the Dunlop website is a box of 20, but if you like'em, that's likely a lifetime's supply. Good luck and thumbs up! |
Subject: RE: Thumb picks From: rich r Date: 21 Oct 98 - 07:39 AM Rick, I am a natural lefty, but I taught myself to play guitar right handed for that very reason. OK maybe that's not the reason, but you know there is a natural superiority of southpaws in that they generally have much better command of the opposite hand than those of the dextral persuasion. I once heard one of the latter prolcaim that he would give his right arm to be ambidextrous. have you tried a narrow flat pick and super glue ;) rich r |
Subject: Thumb picks From: Rick Date: 21 Oct 98 - 04:27 AM Any of you leftie guitarists got any ideas about thumb picks. Left handed ones not easy to find, and using right handed ones doesn't work too well, Keep plucking! Rick |
