Subject: RE: Review: Musical Instrument Insurance From: Gurney Date: 15 Feb 05 - 01:40 AM I put mine on the household, BUT, they insist on a professional valuation. Fortunately, I know a registered musical instrument valuer who's a folkie. He's not likely to be of use to you as he's here in NZ, but you could ask luthiers and instrument repairers, which is what he is. Never had to claim for instruments, fortunately. I'm very happy with the company, though. They paid up promptly and fairly on the claims I have made. |

Subject: Review: Musical Instrument Insurance From: GUEST,CharlieBrown Date: 14 Feb 05 - 11:32 AM I need to insure a number of musical instrumnets / equipment, including a guitar I bring with me on holidays etc. Can anyone point me in the directrion of an insurer. I know theres an option to include them on house insurence - I'd prefer to insure them separately. I'm and Irish resident. Charlie Brown |
